Matthieu Saghezchi is a French art director with 14 years of experience in animation and virtual reality projects. He is passionate about crafting fictional worlds that transport audiences and evoke deep emotions through design and storytelling.
 
In 2021, he became an Emmy Award winner as well as an Annie Award nominee with his Production Designer role on the VR film “Baba Yaga” from Baobab Studios.
 
Earlier in his career, he art-directed animated television series with various Paris-based studios. He also had the privilege of working closely with Disney Legend Andreas Deja.

He is a graduate of the Ecole Emile Cohl animation school in France. His artistic inspirations are deeply rooted in his Persian heritage, mid-century design, and theme parks.
